Welcome to the Maryland State Quarter Horse Association!

Mission Statement: The purpose of our association is to improve and promote the American Quarter Horse breed and stimulate the sale, breeding, exhibition, general use and enjoyment of the Quarter Horse. We encourage educational, social, recreational, and competitive participation. The Maryland State Quarter Horse Association fosters future development of the American Quarter horse through the support of the Youth Association.

It's that time to re-new your membership again in order to receive newsletters, email updates on special events, and show information!! Please take notice to the two seperate membership forms that are now available to download. There is a form for adults and there is a form for the youth.

MSQHA treasuer, Linda Stapf is looking for an assistant. This person would be trained for the position in order to take Linda's place for next year. Please contact Linda or someone on the board  if interested.                              


2011 MSQHA Queen:

Meet Caitlin Ginn! Caitlin has been crowned as the Maryland State Quarter Horse Association 2011 queen. She has represented  MSQHA by  attending various shows, functions,  and the Quarter Horse Congress. She has been quite the busy person! She has been busy preparing by studying her rulebook, enhancing interview skills,  and becoming knowledgeable about horses and the Quarter Horse breed.

MSQHA is happy to announce that Caitlin placed reserve in the interview phase of the queen contest! Congratulations Caitlin. We are proud of you!
